e-Receipts
Verification

A receipt is more useful when it can be verified.

An e-Receipt has a link that anyone can open. The page identifies the business that issued it and shows the recorded sale.

How verification works

The customer opens the receipt link. e-Receipts checks the receipt and shows its status.

If the sale is valid, the receipt remains valid. If the business later reverses it, the receipt shows that it has been cancelled.

Cancellation does not erase the record.

A cancelled sale remains visible as a cancelled receipt.

This means a receipt cannot quietly disappear after it has been issued.

Issue receipts that can be checked.
